One of the not-so-great things about apartment living is the fact that you can’t make a lot of permanent changes to your home because they might violate your lease. We always here about “home security” but no one ever mentions apartment security.
Why not? Well, for one reason, mounting a security camera or installing an automated deadbolt might not be an option that your landlord would approve of.
